Crowdsource a map with places in dire need of a makeover. The app combined with the efforts of Unilever proved to be an great alliance for cleaning-up Bucharest and Romania
“Cif – Curata Romania” mobile apps helped clean up the streets of Romania from aggressive graffiti and nasty messages that could negatively influence the proper development of the cities’ children.
The apps encourage users to find and map the offensive, discriminatory or vulgar markings in Romanian cities. A CIF team would use this map to visit and clean the indicated locations.The apps featured beautifully designed pre- and post-cleaning images
385 locations were cleaned, significantly supplementing the original 80 planned locations.
